DAGGER is a streetwear brand founded by Luke Rainey in Berlin in 2020. The brand name is derived from the dagger used in pagan rituals, symbolizing endings, beginnings, and transformation. The brand originated when Rainey, who had lost his job, printed the closing phrase “all the best” from his termination notice on a Core T-shirt. Rooted in his rebellious youth spent in Northern Ireland in the early 2000s, the brand is characterized by oversized silhouettes influenced by a DIY spirit, skate culture, and the hardcore scene, as well as a rugged, worn-in texture.It is currently attracting attention through activities such as participating in Berlin Fashion Week.
